Week 1 ▐ 3D Printing and Programing

Learn to use 3-D Printing Techniques and programs while you explore the real world applications of this exploding career field.

Lunch and snacks will be served but if your child had a dietary restriction please bring a lunch. Inform staff if your child has any food allergies.


Cost is $100 for this 5 day Program

Hi, I’m Chris! I grew up in Glendale, Arizona, and I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. I have worked in the prototyping lab of the Advanced Technology and Projects Group at Motorola, and I currently work as an Infrastructure Engineer in Phoenix. I’m interested and experienced in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Computer Aided Design, Computer Science, Mathematics, Automation, Pottery, and MAKING STUFF.


Week 2 ▐ Young Investigators 1

Young Investigators 1  “for” but not limited “to” young children in 3rd Grade and 4th Grade. This program will use Art to Explore Science and Technology while having FUN! 

Lunch and snacks will be served but if your child had a dietary restriction please bring a lunch. Inform staff if your child has any food allergies.


Cost is $75 for this 5 day Program 
June 11 – 15
9 am – 2 pm


Week 3 ▐ Women in Technology ▐ June is Women in Technology Month

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This Class is for  Women in Technology  and is similar to TECH BOOT Camp with the focus on Young Women’s issues

and the tools to really be who you are, Brilliant!!

Lunch and snacks will be served but if your child had a dietary restriction please bring a lunch.

Please, Women only. Grades 5 – 9
Cost is $125, OR with your “Sister or BFF” it’s $150 for 2 for this 5 day Program 
June 18 – 22
9 am – 3 pm

In the United States, only 20% of jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are held by women.

As technology begins to take over every aspect of our personal and business lives,

it only seems natural that more women would, in one way or another,

find themselves embracing the field, and allowing their own career paths to lead them towards technology and success.

Week 4 ▐ TECH BOOT CAMP 1

TECH Boot Camp for 6 – 7 – 8 Grade Young Men and Women to be immersed in a full week of Technology including Microsoft Word / Excel,

3-D Printing, Email, computer use and Arduino Programing.

Week 8 ▐ Arduino and Programing

This is the must have class on Arduino and Arduino Programing.  Lunch and snacks will be served.

Cost is $100 per student, Take Home Device Additional $20 ▐   20 seats are available for this great summer program.

We take the very basic introduction level and progress though each level gaining not only knowledge and experience but understanding about this type of electronics that are in 1000’s of devices and appliances

ART SLAMWeek 10 ▐  End Of Summer ART Program

It’s the End of Summer for many people. The Arizona STEAM Shop will be hosting an Art program full of Plaster, Paint and Music For grades 4  through 12…A full week of Art For The ART’S and a take home project….Please wear something that will get paint on , we also have coverups.

Cost $125 per person $150 for 2 Siblings from the same family . 

August 9 – 13

9 am – 3:30 pm  Limited to 25 seats.
